Therapy can be a waste of time & money. Too often, therapists tell you what they think you want to hear, to make you feel better. While this is a nice pat on the back, it isn’t going to help you create any meaningful change in your life. Therapy isn’t going to help change the way you feel, behave and think, unless you collaborate with a therapist who is willing to do the hard work with you.
Samantha has been a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (MFC #42917) since 2006. She has primarily specialized in working with children, teens & families. She was hired by Kaiser Permanente in 2013 to start a Children’s Behavioral Health Department in Southern California. Samantha was honored by Kaiser with their “Everyday Hero” award in 2015 for her exemplary work with families.
